AMAZE is a brand of design objects with added art value
Pre-war situation
Before the war, Anait was running an architectural bureau, mostly focused on architectural and interior design projects. Just before the war, she decided to found a new business direction – the dedicated design objects brand called AMAZE.
Company profess values based on sustainability in terms of design and environmental impact. The first series are ceramic-made architectural-shaped multifunctional objects. Company position them as collectible design and sophisticated decor objects for the interior and different occasions. This project has several layers of perception that make it interesting for the observer.
Before the war, the Ukrainian economy was growing, and the design field was developing rapidly. So company had no worries about the investments and possibilities to find customer for such complicated conceptual objects. However, things have changed dramatically since the war came
Effect of the war
The war effect was crucial, we lost our team. The main technologist was recruited for the war, and others were moving out of the country. The production process was stopped.
A few months later company decided to begin from scratch, set up our team and get back to the work process. Now we have a new team, refined technology process, and new material suppliers. All processes are fully functioning and polished.
Company regularly participate in different fairs and exhibitions, including Maison & Objet in Paris, Ambiente in Frankfurt, and the main events in Ukraine
Resulting challenges
The Ukrainian market and buying activity shouted down, so company need to find export opportunities to survive. Brand already have first customers from abroad, but it is crucial to speed up this progress. Now company are looking for partners in Europe and the USA.
The sought-for solution
Company collided with a lack of competence and experience when it comes to finding the right people and organizations to build long-term relationships in the target market. So the best way to help Amaze business grow is to help find new possibilities and contacts that would lead to sales. Everything else is on our end and in our control.
Additional investments in project would also be helpful in order to participate in industry events and competitions
