Merina Jewellery is a brand of exclusive jewelry made of natural stones
Pre-war situation
Our jewelry was in demand as a wide range of products satisfied the needs of women of any age and for every taste. We won the love of our regular customers, who repeatedly bought our products for themselves and as gifts. Also, the extraordinary design of the products attracted customers’ attention from Ukraine and abroad (USA, Great Britain)
Effect of the war
In times of war, jewelry is not a necessity, and even for us, the constant despair and pain brought by the aggressor country have silenced any desire to create. However, our soldiers’ indomitable spirit, heroism, patriotism, and the world’s support have inspired us. And our creativity gained a new and even more powerful turn, resulting in a new collection of jewelry – yellow and blue brooches and pendants with a patriotic theme
From that moment, our business began to recover, and sales increased. Sales abroad have increased due to the desire to support the Ukrainian manufacturer (2–3 sales abroad per month)
Resulting challenges
We encountered several problems:
- problems with logistics and supply of resources
- a significant increase in resource prices
- limited sales channels
- decrease in business profitability
The sought-for solution
We regularly update the English version of our website and plan to develop our store on international marketplaces. There are also plans to submit applications for business development grants and participate in international exhibitions and pop-up stores to find partners to enter foreign markets
