Nova Kukhnia – the company manufactures ready-made sterilized products in retort bags for long-term storage
Pre-war situation
The family business was started in 2011 The business developed, and already in 2013, LLC “Azov Fruit Company” was established, which was engaged in wholesale trade. The main product deliveries were concentrated in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. After the occupation of a part of the territory of Ukraine in 2014, the economic chains with suppliers were partially broken and the usual product sales market was lost. In connection with the change in the economic situation, a decision was made to reorient the business to processing production. The production of ready-made dishes – packaged salads – has begun. Thanks to wholesale trade, a base of suppliers – producers of agricultural products has been created. This made it possible to release a competitive product, which under the AFC brand was presented in all major retail chains in the city of Mariupol. In 2021, ready-made frozen soups were released. in 2022, they lost everything they had because of the war
Effect of the war
On March 15, 2022, we left Mariupol to live in Ukraine and restore the business lost during the war. Nothing was taken from Mariupol. Everything was lost and destroyed because of the war. In 1.5 years, they were able to restore business, build a new enterprise “New Kitchen” and establish the production of soups in retort packaging.
Resulting challenges
In order to expand the range of products, you need to familiarize yourself with the latest equipment for cleaning onions, beets and other vegetables. Such equipment is used at enterprises in Europe and, in particular, in the Netherlands
