Marius Dekker, is a Dutch born entrepreneur who has been active in the import and export of perishable horticultural products. After being active for more than 35 years as CEO of his company, he decided to retire. During his career Marius has built up a wholesale export company that is active in more than 35 countries. As well he founded several enterprises in other countries
Besides the management of the companies he has been member of the daily board of the VGB for the maximum term of 9 years. The VGB is the industry organization for the Dutch horticultural sector, representing € 3,5 billion of exported goods
One of the countries where Marius was doing business, was Ukraine, since 1997. Therefore he immediately started supplying humanitarian aid after the war started in February 2022
Because of his many years in international business, he has built up a lot of experience in different fields such as, export regulations, logistics, managerial skills, etc
Marius is very motivated to use his long-standing experience and skills to help Ukrainian SME’s to survive this very harsh period during this useless and cruel war
