Support was provided in four areas:
1. To help with irrigation system for lavender and peppermint field
LifeLine Ukraine sponsored the irrigation equipment and services for system installation. The part of the system for the lavender field was installed already in autumn 2022 and the rest for the peppermint part will be finalized in spring 2023
The soil on our fields are quite complex, meaning acidic sandy soil, therefore the irrigation system was vital for our aromatic plants
In spring 2022 a lot of our aromatic plants died out due to the occupation of the village, where our field and facilities are placed
Newly established irrigation system will enable us to save plants, to save manual resources and to cultivate more types of herbs, which require water. Diverse herbs allow us to distill different types of essential oils and increase our income
2. To help with the purchase of essential oils distillation equipment
In 2022 Aroma Fields had a 60 L still for essential oils distillation. During the course of the year the demand on our essential oils increased and there was a need to enlarge our capacities. We needed bigger still to meet the clients’ demand
LifeLine Ukraine sponsored the purchase of 2 stills with the total volume of 300 L. In spring 2023 we plan to build a Distillation Center where these 2 stills will be fully utilized for essential oils productions
This equipment will make a significant contribution for Aroma Fields development as it enables the processing of much more raw material, more essential oils and thus generate more profit
3. Sale of products (lavender aroma oil) through the Cozy Christmas Gift Basket promotion, November-December 2022
4. March 2023 LifeLine Ukraine is supporting Aroma Fields with sourcing new varieties of plants to enlarge her product range
5. To help with the purchase of essential oils distillation equipment
Out of earned money from Cozy Christmas Gift Basket Aroma Fields managed to build Distillery. The 300l still found his place in fairy building and is ready to create the most beautiful essential oils from lavender and mint
